Social Events Chair Pam Nanson
The trust's Social Events Committee organises friendly events such as BBQs, strawberry teas and picnics, to name but a few. Outings to places of local interest connected with Lathom are always popular.
Other organised events, such as guided walks around Lathom are well supported. Speakers on the history of Lathom and its many connections with royalty and the nobility over the centuries have surprised and informed local people.
Whilst our social events help to raise money for the Trust's projects and activities, they bring members and the general public together to share their interest in local history.
